By touring a live beehive, you will discover more about the fascinating world of honeybees! Wearing a beekeeping suit, lighting a bee smoker, and working as a real beekeeper for a while will all be part of the adventure!

First, you have to learn the importance and role of bees in the ecosystem and how to protect them. Then we’ll guide you to the apiary and show you the tools and equipment we use in every day’s work.

You’ll observe worker bees foraging and collecting in a natural environment. We’ll talk about all the hive products.

The adventure will include wearing a beekeeping suit, lighting a bee smoker, and spending some time as a real beekeeper.

You’ll be shown what to look for inside a hive, how to spot the queen, observe the navigation dance, and how to inspect a busy colony.

It does not require any additional or previous experience. The activity is very safe, and exciting, just make sure you’re dressed properly for that (trousers and closed shoes).
